He had the feeling he was late to the meeting. But it was never late for diplomacy. It wasn't such as long travel as others, and he even enjoyed the journey. The ancient bonds between Valencia and Sicily, made him feel they even were closer.
And there he was. Proud as every spanish noble, with his best clothes, the Governor finally walked on sicilian land. But without sword: that was a symbol of his intentions. He wanted to clarify the situation to the Holy Empire and the Bosnians, and demonstrate that talking, they could easily reach an agreement good enough to everyone, defending the sicilian interests too.
The Governor, so, just followed by some heralds with the symbols of Valencia and the ones of the Borgia's House, and no bodyguards, he walked to the doors of the Palace. Maybe Cristiano de Asburgo, his Vice-Chancellor, was following him behind, but he didn't looked back, and said:
-I'm Nicolás Borgia, Governor of the Kingdom of Valencia, and I'm honored to be invited in sicilian lands, at the request of your Minister of Foreign Affairs.
